HOW TO SUBMIT ARTWORK:
EMAIL: If a logo or specific artwork is to be etched on your items, please submit an email with the details and camera-ready artwork attached to info@clearcutetching.com after placing your order.
MAIL: If you want to mail us your camera-ready artwork (do not send originals) as a black and white stat, or copied onto a CD call us at 1-800-382-2997 for instructions.
ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS / CAMERA-READY: To expedite your orders, please submit camera-ready artwork. Camera-ready artwork is a high-contrast black and white file, containing no gray or fuzzy areas, and bearing sharp, precisely defined edges and outlines. If possible, please convert your fonts to curves before saving your file.
ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS / ACCEPTABLE FORMATS: We recommend submitting vector graphics so we can easily resize the graphics to fit the engraving area avoiding additional artwork fees. We prefer an .EPS or .AI Vector graphic file created in Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. Other formats such as .BMP, .GIF, TIFF or JPEG may be acceptable but may require additional cleanup. If submitted artwork is not suitable for reproduction and needs to be "cleaned up," we will contact you to discuss other options or any additional charges.
ARTWORK / EXCEPTIONS:
Because we offer a variety of layout designs, font and color options for Pet Dishes, Memorial Stones and Ceramic Treat Jars, artwork will not be required. Simply enter your choices, using the drop down arrows on your items detail page, prior to clicking on the "Order" button. If you want a different image than offered, there will be an additional fee.
ARTWORK / FINAL LAYOUT APPROVAL: Prior to the etching of your items, you will receive an email (or fax upon request) with the final layout artwork. Please review and reply with your approval, or with a detailed explanation of any changes you would like, within 24 hours so as not to effect your expected date of shipment.
(PLEASE NOTE:Pet Bowls/Dishes and Treat Jars DO NOT require a final layout approval from customer)
ETCHING CHARGES:
Every item in our online catalog includes FREE Etching and Setup. Free etching includes a single etched area with personalization (From 1 to 5 lines of text, based on the size of the items single etchable area. An average logo would be counted as 1 line.) The number of available text lines is shown on each items detail/order page. On this page you will be asked to enter your text in the spaces provided,(i.e "Text Line 1", "Text Line 2"...etc.) If the item you order has a single etch area that can only accommodate 3 lines, then we will only provide text entry areas for 3 lines. In most cases additional text or artwork can be included on an item, however,there would be an additional fee. Note: You do not have to enter text for every text entry line provided. Some items come in various sizes and if the larger size is chosen, the size of the font will increase, allowing for a deeper etch/carving of the item. On smaller sizes, when less lines (or fewer letters) are used, we will be also able to increase the size of the font which allows a deeper etch on the item. SETUP: Free setup includes basic layout as long as camera-ready approved artwork is supplied, see Artwork Specifications for details. Additional charges may apply for special need projects, if this is the case we will contact you to discuss the details.
COLOR-FILL:
On most items,a color may be applied to an area that has been etched. Please check with us to obtain information about available colors and the additional per piece charge.
Please Note... Color-fill charges Do Not apply to Pet Bowls, Treat Jars, Memorial Stones or Address markers. Color-fill is included in the listed price of these items.
FONT STYLES:
A font style must have clean lines and distinctive separations in order to create a beautifully etched product. We suggest you leave the font style choice and/or layout up to the discretion of our artist, however if you prefer you can make that choice. We have selected a variety of preferable font styles for you to choose from for each item we offer. Those choices are listed on your items detail/order page. To view any of these font styles, click on the "DESIGNS/FONTS" button and choose the "Font Style Options" choice on that page. Note: Many other font styles are available. If you have a specific font in mind, let us know, and we will advise you on how well that font would etch and on the availability.
MINIMUM ORDER:
Very few of your products require a minimum order quantity, however if an item has a minimum, it will be displayed on that items order page.

SHIPPING:
Orders are shipped UPS. Pricing for your choice of UPS shipping will be added to your order total at time of checkout. We only ship within the USA and cannot ship to Post Office boxes.
FREIGHT CLAIMS/BREAKAGE:
All claims for breakage must be made with the carrier within 3 days upon receipt of shipment. In the event of breakage, be sure to save all cartons and packaging for inspection.
PRODUCTION TIME:
Please allow 7-10 business days from final art layout approval for shipping. Some custom orders are subject to additional lead-time depending on the project, if necessary, you will be informed. Rush orders are available for an additional surcharge, call for details.
PAYMENT METHODS:
All orders must be paid in full upon inception of order. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks and (Corporate Checks/upon approval). If an alternate form of payment is preferred, please call us to discuss. Items will not be shipped until full payment is received.
GUARANTEE:
We want you to be completely satisfied with your One-Of- A-Kind handcrafted product so defects in material and/or workmanship will be corrected without charge. Please be aware that even in the finest crystal or ceramic, such minor variations like air bubbles, flow lines, chill marks, swirls and clarity are not considered defects. Special care should be taken in the handling of all Clear Cut Etching products.
REFUND POLICY:
Because our merchandise is personalized and made to custom specifications, it cannot be returned. This is the reason we require final approval on most of the items we etch, prior to going into production. Once an item has received final approval, it is in production and cannot be cancelled. All sales and orders are final, however if you are not happy for any reason please let us know and we will do whatever we can to make it right!
